REVOLT is looking for a Media Workflow Manager to oversee the company’s media management technology and workflows. The Media Workflow Manager is skilled in managing very detailed MAM and S3 storage environments while working with the creative, production, and distribution teams. The Media Workflow Manager loves developing processes and efficient workflows to enable the various teams to access and work with the company’s media in the most efficient manner.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure the prompt resolution of high-level issues related to file integrity, media attributes, and content compliance.
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and enforcing media management, storage, and content security policies for staff and contractors.
- Work to on-board new providers and services (Broadcasters / FAST / AVOD / SVOD), including creation and maintenance of transcode projects, profiles and metadata, creation and delivery of test packages and establishing media transfer mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions to overcome technical issues impacting all post-production workflows.
- Liaison with various REVOLT departments and provide a high level of customer service.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required or relevant work experience.
- Prior media management or television operations experience.
- Broadcast/Cable television, Studio, or Post-Production house experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of production and post-production workflows and best practices a must.
- Have an attitude of continuous improvement that improves our processes.
- Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations.
- Strong understanding of audio/video file formats, television standards, film formats, codecs, bitrates, frame rates, video resolutions, aspect ratios, broadcast audio configurations and electronic delivery technologies.
- Knowledge of media processing tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Telestream Vantage, Iconik.
- Experience with file-transfer tools (Aspera, Signiant) and file-sharing tools (MASV, Frame.io).
- Ability to work late hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel as needed
