The Cabin Attendant (CA) is responsible for servicing guests and cabin members. The CA ensures the safety and comfort of all guests and crew members; gathers all information related to the trip such as ordering the catering and shopping for the essentials; loads all catering and stows it away; checks all galley equipment and entertainment systems to assure they are in working order; checks the water and lavatories to ensure they are in working order; prepares heat and serves meals/drinks to guests and crew members, etc.

Positions in this classification are considered safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the aircraft is prepared and stocked to specifications prior and post to each flight
  • Ensure aircraft standards are consistently met and maintained with excellence and that the cabin is of immaculate condition
  • Communicate all cabin maintenance issues with Pilot in Command
  • Ensure the delivery of catering for each flight and the preparation, presentation and service
  • Learn guest food preferences/needs/allergies, etc.
  • Display outstanding customer service
  • Assist with the delegated duties from the captain in command in the event of an aircraft emergency, medical
  • emergency or aircraft evacuation
  • Knowledgeable in Cabin Safety
  • Assist customers with cabin specifications and convenience systems such as entertainment and sat phone capabilities
  • Assist customers with arranging their luggage and personal items onboard
  • Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency.
  • Verify that first aid kits and other emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers and oxygen bottles, are in working order.
  • Administer basic first aid to passengers in distress (e.g., CPR, AED, & First Aid)
  • Attend annual refresher and medical training on off days
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Requirements:

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Part 91/135 Operations preferred
  • Must have experience working in the hospitality industry or have hospitality/butler training
  • Corporate or commercial aviation experience in a cabin attendant capacity preferred
  • Corporate Cabin Attendant Training Certification (Within 24 months) preferred
  • Ability to professionally deal with the discerning preferences and demands of a wide variety of guests with various expectations and sensitivities
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Able to work independently and coordinate exceptional service among guests and other crew members
  • Must have a valid (unexpired) US passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
  • Must pass all conducted background and security checks, drug screen and prove eligibility for employment in the United States
  • Emergency training – certificate from approved training facility completed within the past 12 months to include CPR and First Aid or must attend training prior to rotation assignment
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be available to be “on-call” unless on a scheduled day off

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the FAA, ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to carry, push and pull service items, open and close overhead bins and walk and stand for significant periods of time
