The Provider Data Analyst is responsible for various activities related to the provider network database which may include any or all the following: conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning, database maintenance, reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses, initiating database improvement. Develops and maintains standards for database integrity and quality assurance, coordinates corrective activities to clean database and retain users, and manages communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements. Conducts audits and provides feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance. Maintains current provider data to ensure the quality of the network. May be responsible for representing the provider network area on company IT projects, reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints, or for the support, coordination, and production of the paper directory cycles.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Team lead role
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert to other individuals and business partners as needed
- Lead meetings, report findings to leadership
- Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise
- Investigate non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others
- Facilitate learning and develop training document
- Developing and presenting topics in individual and group settings
- Track and trend data
- Work independently with minimal direction as needed

Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of work experience in a corporate setting within the health care industry
- 1+ years of claims or NDB data entry experience
- 1+ years of experience in Provider Data Operations
- 1+ years of RCL and/or Non-Delegated work experience within PPO load teams
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending, and reporting on metrics
- Solves moderately complex problems on own
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree
- Experience with root cause analysis
- Understanding of adult learning principals
- Presentation skills
- Sound interpersonal and oral communication skills including telephone and written etiquette
