The trimmer is responsible for the efficiency and quality of the plant trimming. The primary job of a Trimmer is to ensure that the marijuana buds are free of leaf material and have a uniform look for retail sale. The ability to demonstrate proficiency, organization, calmness, and attention to detail; is resourceful and able to work both independently and with a team.
The ideal Trimmer is a patient individual that is good with their hands and mentally sharp. While this job is not very labor-intensive, it does require the mental fortitude to sit or stand in one place all day. While wearing gloves, the trimmer must process the buds as quickly as they can while being careful to gently handle the buds without applying too much pressure or damaging them.
Duties/Responsibility
● Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the staging while performing trimmings
● Able to trim one pound minimum on a daily basis, while meeting company standards
● Efficiently trim and de-fan plants
● Responsible for maintaining quality product
● Communicate known issues to the management team to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the company
● Capable of learning/performing all basic necessary tasks asked of
● Other duties as assigned
