As the Distribution Center (DC)/Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the managing and directing of the distribution center to ensure merchandise flows through the distribution center to the final point leading several supervisors. The DC Operations Manager may be responsible for the supervision of one or more of the following: Inbound Operations (Unloading and Receiving), Put to Light, Ticketing, Quality Verification/Quality Control, E-commerce and Outbound Operations (Loading, Spotter Truck Drivers). You’ll be a key player in our supply chain operation, ensuring all DC operations run smoothly so we can ensure merchandise is being received, processed, stored, packed and shipped properly to help us achieve our mission to get the right products to the right stores at the right time!

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas. Efficient operations of warehouse management systems. Ensure inventory is received appropriately and efficiently and safely processed in the warehouse. Maintain and organize all areas of warehouse so appearance is appropriate to our customers.
  • Ensures optimal staffing and efficiency levels in the DC to achieve accurate and timely movement and processing of product.
  • Design and implement systems to effectively control costs in an evolving business environment.
  • Motivate, coach, and train supervisors and associates providing both informal (on floor coaching) and formal (written evaluation) job performance feedback.
  • Design and control of delivery schedules to maximize store service and efficiency.
  • Ensure a safe workplace by following Burlington safety policies and procedures including the accountability for reduction of and control of accident costs.

Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as required. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and the ability to stand for extended periods of time. Candidates must have basic computer proficiency.
