Reflective Jewelry is a small business in Santa Fe, NM. We are rewarding, autonomous, collaborative and our goal is to We are an artisan + designer jewelry company located in Santa Fe, NM. Established in 1995, we have an extensive line of handmade designs — and these days, our focus is primarily on custom and repurposed jewelry. We also have a strong social/environmental justice mission — we are the only certified Fairtrade Gold jewelers in the US, and have been pioneers in the ethical jewelry movement for nearly 20 years..

Our team consists of six (incredible!) individuals. Together we enjoy a work environment that is complex, dynamic, and full of challenges — yet also stimulating, creative, friendly, and rewarding.
At present, we are looking to add a photographer/social media coordinator/web content administrator. This person will be responsible for large portions of our consumer-facing presence. This includes our in-house photography for web and print, managing our social media channels, and loading new/updating old products on our website.
This is a full-time position, with benefits included.
The ideal candidate will be driven, comfortable wearing multiple hats, skilled in digital photography and editing, and have a proven track record of generating buzz on social media. Responsibilities and requirements are as outlined:
Responsibilities:
- Photography
- Product photography for use on our website
- Editorial and on-model photography for social media, marketing, and advertisements (both online and in-print)
- Editing photos in Photoshop (ex. clipping out backgrounds, compositing gemstones, color-correcting products, cleaning up imperfections)
- Uploading new products to the website and making necessary updates to existing products
- Social Media
- Managing our presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Business, and YouTube. This includes generating or selecting photos and copy, as well as filming and editing short videos.
- Web Content Administration
- Writing copy for new product descriptions
Loading, modifying, and removing products on our website
Requirements:
- Photography
- Proficiency with Photoshop and Lightroom
- Experience with product photography
- Experience with editorial/lifestyle photography
- Experience with studio lighting
- Must provide a link to a portfolio with relevant work
- Social Media
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business, OR building a strong following on your personal accounts
- Proficiency managing accounts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Ability to coordinate w/ our team to create strong content
"Bonus Points":
- Experience with Canon cameras and Mac computers
- Experience shooting and editing video
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator
- Experience managing products for an e-commerce website
