Fieldwire, a SaaS based software service provider for construction management, is looking for an experienced Mobile QA Analyst for our Frontend platform to join our talented QA team. Quality and availability of our platform is of utmost importance to Fieldwire and its customers, QA plays a critical role in ensuring we maintain the high quality bar our customers have to expect from us. Through automation, our goal is to find as many bugs as possible in a continuous feedback loop during development. Our applications are built using modern and reliable tools, including Javascript, Angular, and Bootstrap and are designed for simplicity, reliability and performance.
The Frontend team at Fieldwire builds and maintains the web app used by our customers. Our engineering teams are multi-functional, co-located with product and design. Fieldwire's apps are mission critical for the construction teams that use Fieldwire everyday to save time and money on the jobsite.
What you'll be doing
You will own the story for the Mobile Platform and create long-lasting foundations at Fieldwire. You will be working directly with a Mobile Engineering team to create and contribute UI tests. Day-to-day includes adding to the functional test coverage, writing tests, and reviewing scenarios with the iOS and Android engineering teams.
A day in the life of a Mobile QA Analyst II will be frequently solving these types of problems:
- Testing new Android and iOS features developed during the sprint
- Writing new test cases to increase coverage using TestRail
- Identify testability requirements, utilizing industry standards for manual testing
- Working directly with Mobile engineering team on planning, writing, and executing tests and include them in the release sign off process
- Working with QA team and platform counter-parts (Web and Backend) on building testing best practices for engineering
At Fieldwire, we're looking for our Mobile QA Analyst II to have the following skills and experiences:
- 5+ years of experience working as a QA tester (engineer, analyst)
- 3+ years of Mobile App specific experience working QA tester (engineer, analyst)
- Experience in executing test cycles, reporting results and failures
- Familiar with QA best practices, such as identifying test coverage and what should be tested
- Strong communications skills

Compensation:
Total annualized cash compensation for Mobile QA Analyst ranges from $60,000 - $80,000 base salary, including annual bonus potential.
Where is the job located?
This role is fully remote within the US. Our headquarters is based in beautiful San Francisco, CA. Our office is located right off of Embarcadero Bart station. Easily accessible by all forms of public transportation.
